And I wanted to know what locus they had in sport, eg FIFA. So I headed to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Council_of_Europe - and I'm still not sure.<br /><br />Under 'aims and achievements' they seem to have huge status in Human Rights, I'm not sure who will be obliged (in member countries) to take notice of this resolution, much as I approve of its good sense, and its pithiness.
